The duo are aiming to raise £5,000 and will be joined by Andy Hassall and Andy Hartley from Morson Projects, as well as peers from across the nuclear industry, including representatives from EDF Energy, Cavendish Nuclear and Amentum.
Brainwave are based near our Hinkley Point C team in Bridgwater and help children with disabilities and additional needs locally and across the UK to achieve greater independence and reach their full potential. They do this through developing bespoke multi-disciplinary therapy programmes which covers physio, speech and language, sensory integration and learning and devilment.
Rozana shared about the up-coming ride:
“This event isn’t just about pushing us to our cycling limits; it’s about making a real difference in the lives of children with disabilities and additional needs who need our support.
“Brainwave is an incredible charity that does not receive any statutory funding. They rely on the generosity of people like us to continue their vital work. Each year, they need to raise a staggering £2 million to keep their services running. Every donation, no matter what the amount, makes a difference.
“Thank you so much to anyone who wishes to sponsor us for helping to make a difference in the lives of the incredible children Brainwave supports.”
