Project overview
Waldeck have worked with our long-term pharmaceutical client on an on-going basis since 2004 to redevelop their site in Cheshire. The initial project involved the fit-out of an existing building, design of a separate laboratory building, with various process and clean rooms, followed by a £4 million warehouse extension.
Our Solution
The start of the project involved the development of initial site layouts into suitable drawings with elevations, meeting with the Local Authority and completing all the necessary paper work prior to submitting a planning application on the client’s behalf.
Following planning approval, construction drawings and specifications relevant to the building work, foundations, water proofing, retaining walls, slab yards and drainage were formed. This was then followed by performance specifications and indicative drawings for the other trade contractors to undertake the final detailed design. Fire philosophy drawings that form part B in order to satisfy Building Regulations as well as other details for building regulations were provided by Waldeck.
The Results
Due to good communication and co-ordination of all parties, the project was completed on time and within budget.
