The Nottingham Trent University (NTU) Apprenticeship Awards return for its fifth year, bringing together 150 guests from various industries to recognise the outstanding contributions of apprentices, employers, and mentors.
The annual event is a highlight on the NTU calendar and honours those who have demonstrated excellence across their in-house apprenticeship programmes.
Waldeck have made the Employer Awards Shortlist for:
- Apprentice Employer of the Year: Medium Enterprise
- Equality & Diversity Award
Tim Leach, Waldeck’s Civil & Structural Engineering Director, shared:

The awards mark an exciting time for our team as we celebrate the achievements of both our apprentices and the wider organisation in supporting our early careers engineers in achieving their ambitions.

The NTU Apprenticeship Awards celebrate the exceptional achievements of apprentices, mentors, and employers, and we are proud to be part of this event.
The ceremony will take place on Thursday 8 May 2025 at the University. A huge congratulations to all the other finalists who have been recognised for their outstanding contributions, we look forward to celebrating together.
