Waldeck has been shortlisted for a second year running as a finalist at the NCE100 Companies of the Year Awards.
The NCE100 is New Civil Engineer’s annual awards recognising and celebrating the most innovative, impactful and inspirational firms operating in civil engineering.
Shortlisted under the ‘Innovative Operator’ category, Waldeck has been invited to attend a face-to-face interview with the NCE100 panel of judges, who represent the industry’s leading clients, stakeholders and industry bodies.
Mark Greatrix, Director of Digital and Technologies, shares some details on Waldeck’s submission:
“Waldeck’s ‘Digital Capture’ solution has advanced significantly over the past 12 months, and leverages Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence to both capture and intelligently categorise assets and their associated defects.
“Utilising cutting edge gaming design software, we are able to rapidly turn-around outputs from digitally capturing an asset, through to conveying them within a navigable and inquirable virtual 3D environment.
“With the added capability of integrating location and context based information, such as existing plans and layouts, the deliverables present a huge step change from traditional paper based reporting and schedules.
“Having tried and tested this solution, Waldeck are now focused on rolling out a programme of work for several major logistics and transportation clients, as well as exploring opportunities and benefits for clients across all sectors.”
‘Digital Capture’ enables the planned, managed, safe and efficient surveying of a given environment. Data is captured, processed and analysed utilising our authored software solutions.
