Craig Motley, a Software Developer based at Waldeck’s Sleaford office, is trading his workstation for his gaming PC and taking part in a 24-hour gaming marathon as part of Macmillan Game Heroes 2018, to raise money for people affected by cancer.
24 hours of life-changing gaming: The nationwide challenge aims to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support through gaming extravaganzas across the country, having raised over £90,000 so far in 2018.
Craig is using his annual Waldeck ‘Charity Day’ for the 24 hour gameathon, which will start at 7pm on Thursday 8th November, where he intends to play a multitude of games including; League of Legends, Total War: Warhammer 2, Old School Runescape, Overwatch, as well as attempting a world record for Mortal Kombat X.
Craig shared: “I feel very lucky to be able to combine doing something I love, with achieving something for such an important cause. To help make a real difference through the power of gaming is a testament to the modern age we live in.”
