The event aims to explore the various maintenance challenges, advancements in design and construction, and the industry’s commitment to sustainability and resilience within the bridge sector.

The NCE Bridges Conference will serve as a platform for industry professionals, including clients, consultants, contractors, specialists, and architects, to gather and engage in insightful discussions on critical topics such as asset management, materials innovation, and sustainable design and construction. This collaborative environment encourages the exchange of ideas and hopes to foster collaboration and innovation across the bridge sector.

In light of the government’s net zero ambitions and the increasing resilience challenges posed by aging bridge infrastructure, the bridge sector finds itself in a demanding and transformative phase. Bridge owners and their supply chains are now focused on exploring innovative solutions to reduce embedded carbon, promote circularity in projects, and achieve efficient and cost-effective maintenance strategies.

As such, Waldeck are delighted to be exhibiting alongside Nottingham Trent University to showcase our bespoke new Asset Inspection, Visualisation & Management solution.

This cutting-edge technology revolutionises the way assets such as bridges can be managed, simplifying the planning, capturing, monitoring and maintenance of large asset portfolios.

Through our innovative solution, we aim to enhance collaboration, improve decision-making processes, and ultimately deliver exceptional outcomes for bridge management projects.

Following the conference, we will also be attending the NCE Bridges Awards where Waldeck and Nottingham Trent University have been shortlisted in three categories for their Panoptic Bridge Management project for Network Rail, which utilises a bespoke version of the solution.

The awards aim to be a celebration of excellence showcasing the remarkable achievements and dedication within the industry.
