Waldeck’s Director for Nuclear New Build, Richard, has over 16 years’ experience in the nuclear industry and is currently leading Waldeck’s embedded team within the Joint Design Office on-site at EDF Energy’s Hinkley Point C, helping to build the next generation of Nuclear New Build in the UK.

With a strong background in technical design and project management, Richard has a deep understanding of nuclear site operations. He excels in roles involving design management, construction change, defect management, and compliance. Richard’s expertise in steel and reinforced concrete design, along with his commitment to health, safety, security, and quality, makes him a key leader in both technical and non-technical capacities.
